Awesome Gorillaz

Watching MTVEMA show tonight, I was awestruck with Gorillaz performance. How in the hell they managed to relive the characters on the scene is beyond me. Really stunning work.

Green Day ruled this as well as the Grammy’s. Robbie W is the most annoying person that I adore to see over and over. Lead singer of Pussycat Dolls has a great voice. Shakira is an amazing gift of nature for all the women – this is what men think about when they say “great moves”.

And yes – I think that AliG was out of place. One or two of the jokes were interesting, the rest was really thin. Or maybe I don’t get this kind of humour.

Best.Game.Ever.

After six years…

…I’m enjoying it 100%.

The Bourne Supremacy

This is one of the best action movies I have ever seen in my life. The Bourne Identity was great, but this one is even better. Pure action, no small talk, no kiddin’ around. Great attention to details, characters speak their own languages. And a hellishly good story. Perfect fast-paced movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Camera moves are sometimes too quick and it’s hard to grasp the sequence, but it only serves to put you more into the seat next to the characters. The Moscow high-pursuit scene is so fucking good that Matrix Reloaded highway scene looks like Need for Speed intro or something like that…So damn realistic. The primary high-point of the Bourne movies – effects serve the story, not the other way around. One does not even notice the effects here, unless reminded about them.
Can’t wait the next one. There must be more – these two parts are so good that they kick ass to all James Bond, Jack Ryan and Etan Hunt combined. Come on, let there be another movie like this.

Things not to do in Singapore

• Wearing uncomfortable shoes
• Going for a walk after 10pm to areas without taxi stands
• Having 20kg over your regular weight and walking half the Orchard Road in the middle of the day
• Not spending 25 S$ on camera tripod (the level of stupidity realized while looking at wonderful night landscape)
• Drinking water/any fluid while walking

Singapore

I just found out that instead of UK, I’ll be going to Singapore for at least two weeks (business reasons). I don’t know how much free minutes I’ll have, but…
