Hi, Just dropping you a note that Sky Tower has its own website at www.skytower.com.sg. More information and panaromic pictures to be leeached from there. Its a much better site than the sketchy information that Sentosa gives. Enjoy!

hi there, am a singaporean, just surfin thru. Good to see you've enjoyed the touristy sentosa, quite funny tho that the locals rather detest it (haha) and visit sentosa for the beaches mostly. everything there is overpriced, so it would be good to bring water bottles along, buying from supermarkets like NTUC and cold storage makes for cheaper buys. You can refill the bottles at water-coolers/dispensers or at toilets - everyone in singapore drinks water right from the tap. no worries!

If you should visit again, you should visit the non-tourist spots outside of the city. and because i rather enjoy lookin for good makan places (makan = food ; national past time) i would recommand that for anyone visiting singapore - ask the locals when u arrive for GREAT makan places. Getting to your makan place is already part of the adventure. great food and a different experience of singapore life. haha, food in restaurants and cafes are just different from the roadside fare.

Do an online websearch on Singapore Blogs with entries on food or good places to visit and chill, then at least you'd be visiting places that are more varied than those that come from "official" sources, and would probably be more easy on the pocket. :)
